There are two videos to choose from about the Hidden Figures of Mary Jackson, Katherine Johnson, Christine Darden & Dorothy Vaughn. The brilliant mathematicians behind the Apollo missions and the race to the moon. Watch them both and then watch the movie that was made about them!

Now it’s time to dig a little deeper. One of the problems with movies about history is that they often make changes in order to tell the story in a more interesting way. If you watched the Hidden Figures movie, make sure you watch the above video for a breakdown of ten things they got right… and wrong.

Next, spend a little more time reading, or watching videos about the women featured in Hidden Figures. Then, create a biography project about one or more of them.
